The Best of Willem Dafoe

Willem Dafoe is the subject of this article, his career and movies. His films add up to 70 that he has starred in and of course he is not shy to take the lead or he is a wonderful supporting actor. This actor has a lot of talent that he can say many things with his face.

Movies of Willem Dafoe: Which are the best of the list? The top ones are next.

The Boondock Saints is the first of his movies. Brothers who are a religious duo do the work of God by offing the bad guys who are sinners. This movie is a good one to see. There is a second one.

David Caravaggio is the character that he plays in the film The English Patient. This film really came away with a lot of Oscars. The Academy Award for Best Picture of the Year and also got 9 other Oscars.

Another one of his many roles is in the Spiderman movie. This movie is one of those that have started the superhero kick and the Green Goblin is perfect fit for Dafoe. The thing that helped him play the role is his grimacing face.

Antichrist is a must see if you are a fan of horror movies. It is maybe one of the scariest and deranged movies that has Willem Dafoe.

Platoon is the 1986 war film that is the last on the list. It was liked by critics and audiences and was directed be Oliver Stone. He was nominated for Best Actor in a Supporting Role, but unfortunately he did not get it.

This is the best of list that I could give here for Willem Dafoe's movies. I am sure that Dafoe will have a lot more movies to add to this list in the future and it will be hard to pick the best.

Papers inside bombe chest is no good compared to scanning service.

The Best Lawyer Movies

Our country has had an on again, off again love affair with the lawyer. Certainly when we need one, we love them. When we hear stories of people suing McDonald's because their coffee was too hot, we tend to think of them differently. Not only the subject of a million bad jokes, they have also been the subject of many a film. Strangely enough, more of these films seem to be good-or at least passable-than otherwise. Here we take a look at some of the best legal films out there.

To Kill a Mockingbird
Based on the classic novel by Harper Lee (though some contend it was at least partially written by Lee's good friend Truman Capote, the film tells the tale of lawyer Atticus Finch, played flawlessly by Gregory Peck in the role that defined his career. Both the book and the movie tackle the subject of racism and whether a black man can get a fair trial in a very dark period of our nation's history.

Inherit The Wind
If ever there was a legal movie that every lawyer should be required to watch, it would be this one. Spencer Tracy and Frederic March play Clarence Darrow and William Jennings Bryan in a dramatization of the famous Scopes Monkey Trial that debated the legal precedent of teaching evolution in public schools. With intelligent design enthusiasts and evolutionists still battling over school curricula, this movie is as relevant now as it has ever been.

Philadelphia
The movie that took Tom Hanks from a strictly comic actor into an Oscar winning powerhouse, it concerns a lawyer who contracts AIDS and is then fired from his job at a prestigious law firm. After being rejected by a dozen attorneys, his case is finally taken by his old courtroom rival, played by Denzel Washington. More than just a legal procedural, the movie is the gripping emotional tale of human rights and how we deal with losing our loved ones.

Amistad
Directed by Steven Spielberg, this all star film takes a look at a mostly forgotten case from the early days of American history. Set twenty years before the Civil War, Amistad is about the uprising of a slave ship and the prosecution of those slaves for murder, a case that makes it all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. Matthew McConaughey, Anthony Hopkins, and Morgan Freeman are all in top form in the retelling of this powerful story.

In Gainesville, lawyer fees are a bit more expensive than a movie night, but can help you out with your Hollywood case. If you need an attorney, visit http://www.rflintcrump.com/.

Film News: Will the Three Stooges Movie Ever Happen?

One of the most consistently confusing pieces of film news to have been in and out of the Hollywood press pages this year is the reinvention of The Three Stooges for modern audiences.

Early reports seemed unsure as to what exactly the project would end up being and what MGM - the company behind the reboot - had in mind. Some speculated that the film would be a biopic documenting the lives and troubled relationship between Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard. Others suggested there were plans to recreate their slapstick humour around an entirely new fictional plot. At this stage, it seems we are a million miles away from any film trailers or teaser posters to support the flick - but it has definitely been an interesting few months for details on the project.

Recent reports have suggested that following the financial woes of MGM, Fox is now ready to take the movie to the next stage of its development. Interestingly, it seems that The Farrelly Brothers - the directorial duo behind comedies like Dumb and Dumber, Stuck on You and There's Something About Mary - are still the names in the frame to take up the camera. This would seem to suggest the film will eventually be an out-and-out comic caper, rather than the real-life drama some had predicted. Less certain, however, is exactly who will reprise the roles of the characters themselves.

Originally, it had been reported that the powerhouse trio of Sean Penn as Larry, Benicio Del Toro as Moe, and Jim Carrey as Curly had been lined up. Later though, Penn was confirmed as out, leaving Paul Giamatti to step into the shoes he'd left behind. Since then, it seems that despite gaining 40 pounds for the role, Jim Carrey has also now stepped aside. Speaking to MTV about the movie as a whole, the plastic-faced star said: "I think it's dead. It's dead at least with me."

The latest news on the subject though, is that Fox has slated The Three Stooges to begin shooting in March 2011, giving them just four months to lock down their final three lead actors. In a statement issued to Deadline, director Peter Farrelly said it was vital that the right people were found to take up these iconic roles. "The script is ready to go, and we are opening up these roles to the world right now," he told the site. "This is not The Flintstones," Farrelly concluded, "You've got to be Moe Howard, Larry Fine and Curly Howard and that could be a major movie star or an unknown."

The Advantages Of 3D Television

Technology is changing fast and at a constant rate, so it is not surprising that many people are now thinking about purchasing 3D televisions for their homes. However, some are resisting this new trend because they do not believe that this craze will last. Before deciding that it is just a flash in the pan, consider some of the advantages of 3D television.

Of course, the main reason that so many people want 3D televisions in their homes is that they are really fun to watch. Whenever something can be viewed in three dimensions, it makes the viewer feel as though they are really part of the action. Combine a 3D television with a surround sound system, and viewers will feel as though they've jumped through the screen instead of sitting right in their living room.

Another reason to have a 3D television right at home is the ability to watch movies in 3D without paying the price to go to a movie theatre. Yes, the cost of a 3D television is far greater than the price of an IMAX movie ticket, but it will pay for itself over time. If money is a bit short one week, the entire family can enjoy a 3D movie at home without spending any extra cash from the weekly budget.

When someone goes to the movies to see a 3D film, they are often amazed at how the special effects draw them into the story. When they watch the same movie at home on a normal TV, the experience often pales in comparison. Having a 3D television at home allows viewers to enjoy movies as much as they did the first time, each time they watch them.

There are many different types of technology that come and go before anyone has a chance to think much about them. However, there are many advantages of 3D television that suggest this development is here to stay. 3D television is the best way to watch a movie at home and feel like you are sitting right in the theatre.

Transformers: Dark Of The Moon

With 2011 fast approaching, legion of Transformers fans across the world await in eager anticipation for the release of the franchise's third and final film. Due to hit the cinemas on July 1, 2011, Transformers: The Dark of The Moon again brings staple cast members Shia LeBeouf, Frances McDormand, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro and many others together under the direction of director Michael Bay. Additionally, this new movie also features the acting debut of Megan Fox's replacement and former Victoria Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as the female lead (Sam Witwicky's new love interest).

Of course, this could never be a Transformers movie without, well, the fighting giant robots from Cybertron! Movie goers can expect to see Autobots leader Optimus Prime, Bumblee Bee, Iron Hide, Sideswipe battle it out with the Decepticons once again. As the rumors have confirmed, fan favorite Shockwave will be leading all the villains this time around.

The movie's trailer has also started spreading on the internet and it looks to be very promising, so far. So despite the many negative feedbacks that the second film has received, this new film shows a lot of potential. It really appears that Michael Bay and all the cast members are really determined to set things right this time.

Now a lot of Transformers fans are also excited for the upcoming toy line that would surely be released prior to the actual movie. For sure, a lot of collectors will also be searching the internet for more Transformers custom toys. When compared to the action figures sold at the stores, more collectors prefer Transformers custom toys better because they are sturdier and are also much more detailed. One expected downside of Transformers custom toys, however, is that finding transformable figures could be difficult since most customizers typically focus on creating movie-accurate replicas.

Wesley Snipes Plays Bruce Lee in Martial Arts Movie Game of Death

One year ago Wesley Snipes and helmer Abel Ferrara decided to reunite on action-thriller Game of Death, it could be their second project together since Ferrara's 1990 cult film King of New York, but suddenly Ferrara hop off and Giorgio Serafini finished this project.

Plot: Secret Ops agent Marcus is sent to Detroit to take out an arms dealer and the head of the hedge fund that is financing him. His CIA backup has other plans and turns on him and it's a fight to survive in a hospital.

Tough music from the beginning of the martial arts movie made me feel thrilled and awaiting for another real action with Wesley Snipes and Gary Daniels. Special undercover CIA agent comes to a Church and starts his story about betrayal and corrupt agents.

Wesley is always Wesley, he is a real action star and his fighting skills always work on the screen, but brutality of this film fights reminded me Steven Seagal. Snipes, please, do not be another Seagal breaking every leg and arm on his way.

I liked fighting choreography of Simon Rhee and Chuck Jeffreys, but guys stop with brutality, Wesley looks perfect with his fast and unforgettable technique without all these tricks.

I know Gary Daniels since year 2000 and follow his career in martial arts movies, but probably it is not a good step to play the same bad guys staying with a gun and talking some stuff or smoking like it was in Hunt To Kill with Steve Austin, a really funny and cheap movie. Gary, I know, you can much more and like somebody said "He has a kind face, why he is playing so stupid bad guys?"

On my opinion, the main bad guy (girl) in this martial arts movie was Zoe Bell, who tried to show skilled woman-agent hunting for millions. Sorry, but she did not buy me and just took attention from Gary who supposed to play a leader of corrupt team. And why two so skilled agent took some strange big guy walking on the back stage and saying "Yes, Sir"?

Robert Davi is a great actor and in his 60 looks not bad, but deserves much more like any other talent from old school so dishonestly forgotten by Hollywood.

I can call this film The Art of War 4 because it is very close to a story about an operative agent for the United Nations who coverts dirty-tricks squad, using espionage and quasi-ethical tactics to secure peace and cooperation.

Nice martial arts movie.

Top 5 Most Iconic Screen Cars

Forget the actors and actresses the real stars of these small and big screen hits are the cars!

Herbie
Star of the 1968 film The Love Bug, Herbie has become one of the most recognisable movie cars in the world. The white Volkswagen Beetle, which had a mind of its own and could feel human emotions, was distinguished by two red and blue racing stripes and the number 53, although the original Herbie was far less flashy. Fitted with a punchy Porsche 356 engine, Herbie was a surprisingly capable race car!

The Striped Tomato
The Striped Tomato was star of the 70s hit TV series Starsky and Hutch, the bright red Gran Torino featured a distinctive large white vector stripe. Allegedly Paul Michael Glaser, who played detective David Starksy in the show, did not like the car as he thought it was ugly and unrealistic for undercover detectives, and because he was not a fan of Ford cars!

Chitty Chitty Bang Bang
Inspired by a series of 1920s aero-engined racing cars and brought to life by writer Ian Fleming, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang became a much loved icon after it starred in the 1968 hit film. A total of six versions of the fictional racing car were made for the film, and the model used in the stage production holds the record for the most expensive stage prop ever! The original, which was the only car to be officially registered with the GEN11 number plate,
is expected to make thousands when is auctioned off in LA next year.

The A-Team's GMC Van
The A Team's van has become as synonymous with the hit show as Mr T. The original A Team van was a black and gun metal GMC G-series (G-15) van, distinguished by its red stripe and equipped with a Ruger AC556 fully automatic rifle! Reportedly six copies of the iconic vans were used in one series, with a GMC G-20 Vendura van being used in the 2010 A Team movie. The van is so popular it's even possible to hire replica models for special occasions!

James Bond's Aston Martin DB5

The silver Aston Martin DB5 driven by 007 Sean Connery in classic films such as Goldfinger and Thunderball is probably the most famous car in the world. The iconic Aston Martin, complete with secret agent friendly gadgets, including ejector seat, nail spreader and revolving number plates, recently fetched an impressive £2.9million at auction. Want a bit of Bond magic? You can't go wrong with a DB5, alternatively find an, it was voted the UK's favourite car of the last 25 years.
